PESHAWAR
A protest demonstration was held by the Pakistan Central Muslim League Peshawar in front of the Peshawar Press Club (PPC), expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemning Israel’s atrocities.
The event was attended by prominent leaders including Pakistan Central Muslim League Provincial President Arifullah Malik, South Pakhtunkhwa President Yawar Aftab, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (S) Group Leader Yousuf Shah, Secretary General of the Pakistan Central Muslim League Peshawar Inamullah, Chief Khatib Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tayyab Qureshi, and other key figures.
Hundreds of participants rallied with placards and banners bearing anti-Israel and pro-Palestine slogans. The protesters voiced their anger with strong chants against Israel, condemning its actions towards Palestinians. They declared that Israel is an illegitimate state and rejected any recognition of it. The demonstrators emphasized that Israel’s violent actions against unarmed Palestinians, especially during the holy months of Ramadan and Eid, were a clear violation of agreements and a gross injustice.
The protesters also criticized international organizations such as the United Nations for their silence in the face of these atrocities. They called on the government of Pakistan to take a stronger stand for Palestine, lead the Muslim Ummah, and respond decisively to Israel.
The protesters reiterated that the ongoing struggle in Palestine is not just a regional issue but one that concerns the entire Muslim Ummah. They expressed their readiness to offer all possible support to the oppressed Palestinian people in their fight to defend Islam and Jerusalem.
