RAWALPINDI (INP): Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) sealed 18 illegal properties in residential areas of Gulraiz Housing Scheme.
The RDA’s Building Control is continuously conducting operations against illegal and unauthorized shops, building constructions, and encroachments within the controlled area of RDA in Rawalpindi city. Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate, Building Control’s staff including Superintendent Nadeem Jamal, Building inspectors Arslan Shaukat and Shafiqur Rahman today with the assistance of Rawalpindi Police from the concerned Police Station carried out an operation at Gulraiz Housing Scheme, Rawalpindi.
Under an operation, RDA Enforcement team sealed 18 properties including six furniture showroom, tiles godown, two Bakra shops, Mineral water store, stationery shop, service station, two bird shops, two chicken shops and two sabzi shops in Gulraiz Housing Scheme. The operation was carried out by the RDA’s Enforcement Team in the supervision of Superintendent Nadeem Jamal.
Commissioner Rawalpindi Division / Director General (DG), RDA Azmat Mahmud has directed the Building control section to take strict action against illegal / unauthorized constructions, commercial activities and encroachments without any fear and favour.
