PESHAWAR
The provincial minister for Labor and parliamentary affairs Shaukat Yousafzai on Saturday demanded immediate general elections and said that people were suffering due to political instability and rising inflation.
Addressing a public meeting in Shangla held in connection with PPP and PML-N joining PTI, he said that the incumbent government destabilized the country politically and economically during the last few months.
Shahukat Yousafzai maintained that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was removed through a foreign conspiracy because he was leading the country on the path of state of Madina.
He alleged the incumbent federal government for registering fake cases against PTI leaders and workers across the country to silence them.
“Imran Khan is the only savior of this country and time has come to announce elections immediately,” he added.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led federal government has failed to manage country’s economy affairs, he added.
Shaukat accused Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) senior leadership of exposing the country to the risk of bankruptcy.
He said that most of the ministers of the federal cabinet were facing the cases and on bail from the courts, adding that they could be jailed anytime if their cases were processed.
The provincial minister for labor said that people across the country were reeling from the floods and central government leadership was busy in political gimmicks and victimization of PIT leadership for their vested interest.
PTI provincial government was making all resources available for the relief and rehabilitation of flood-hit families in KP, he added.
Labor minister KP said that Chief Minister Mehmood Khan has visited all the affected areas of the province and met the people and will soon take practical steps to solve their problems.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is visiting KP to get media coverage and did nothing to help the province to rehabilitate flood victims, he alleged.
Shaukat Yousafzai claimed that all preparations have been completed by the federal government to implicate Imran Khan in some fake cases and they have hit him with charges under the terrorism act. Despite their attempts, Imran Khan emerged the most popular leader of the country and would form the government in upcoming general election with majority seats in the National Assembly.
