Islamabad: Senator Sherry Rehman extended warm New Year greetings to people across the globe, offering a message of hope, resilience, and unity, with a special focus on Pakistan. “Each new year brings an opportunity to reflect, renew, and recommit to the values that bind us as a global community,” Senator Rehman said. “My hope for 2026 is rooted in the shared aspiration for a peaceful, just, and prosperous world.” Speaking about Pakistan’s path ahead, she expressed optimism for a year marked by democratic stability, social cohesion, and inclusive growth. “For Pakistan, I hope 2026 will be a year of harmony—where democratic processes strengthen, institutions uphold the rule of law, and citizens act with mutual respect and understanding,” she added. Senator Rehman emphasized the need for sustainable policies focusing on economic empowerment, climate resilience, and social justice to improve the quality of life for all Pakistanis.
