Shooting incidents in Peshawar, Nowshera claim three lives

At least three people were killed in separate shooting incidents in the districts of Peshawar and Nowshera, police informed on Tuesday.
According to police, two men were shot dead in the limits of Badrashi Police Station in Nowshera’s Maraji area.
The incident reportedly occurred due to an old enmity. The deceased were identified as Johar and Hazrat Ali. Their bodies were shifted to Nowshera Hospital, while police reached the scene and launched an investigation.
In another incident, a man was killed in the provincial capital Peshawar. The shooting took place in the posh Hayatabad Phase 6 area within the jurisdiction of Tatara Police Station, where a son allegedly shot his father following a domestic dispute.
The victim’s wife told police that they lived in Sector F3, Phase 6. She stated that her husband, Aziz-ur-Rehman, was addicted to drugs, unemployed and frequently involved in quarrels. After a verbal altercation, their son, Muhammad Hafeez, opened fire on his father, killing him on the spot.
Police shifted the body to the hospital for post-mortem examination and initiated efforts to arrest the suspect.
