Six held for robbing Punjab based businessman in Peshawar

Six persons were arrested by police on Wednesday in connection with the robbery of millions of rupees from a Punjab based businessman.
The accused were identified as Sulman alias Sulmany, Jamshid Afghani,Taimur, Rahim, Noor-ul-Haq and Faheem.
According to SP-Rural Saleem Abbasi that during the course of action in the limits of Chamkani Police Station six persons of a robbery gang has been arrested and cash more than ten million rupees have been recovered from their possessions.
He said that a businessman from Punjab province was robbed at gun point while staying in Peshawar for some business deals.
Police after the incident formed a team for the investigation. The team during the investigation got accessed to CCT cameras on the route and involved human intelligence and made possible the arrest of the accused.
The gang had also attacked on the businessman near Motorway limits of Chamkani.
Police maintained that the arrested persons have also identified the names of other members of the gang.
A police constable was also involved in the robbery was yet to be arrested; police added and said that cases have been registered and investigation has launched for other accomplices.
