PESHAWAR: In a condemnable act in Badaber area of Peshawar, a son shot and killed his mother after becoming frustrated with her repeated advices to stay away from immoral company, police said on Monday. The tragic event unfolded when Asma Bibi advised her son, Habibullah, to distance himself from bad reputed people. Enraged by the admonition, Habibullah locked his mother in a room and opened fire on her. Asma Bibi sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital but sadly, she succumbed to her injuries on the way. Following the incident, the accused fled the scene. Police have launched a manhunt to arrest him. APP
