Senior Superintendent of Police, Sadar Division, Fida Hussain on Sunday conducted a detailed security inspection of Police Post Jinnah Kor in Hassan Khel and directed personnel to remain fully alert to counter any possible threat.
During the visit, Mr Hussain reviewed security arrangements, deployment of staff and other precautionary measures. He was accompanied by DSP Saeedur Rehman and the relevant Station House Officers.
Addressing the personnel, the SP commended them for performing duties with dedication, courage and professionalism in a sensitive and difficult terrain. He said the timely and effective performance of duty by police personnel was the foundation of public security.
“Given the nature of the area, it is essential to remain vigilant and maintain a high state of alert at all times,” he told the officers, adding that morale and discipline must be sustained with the same spirit and resolve.
Mr Hussain urged the staff to continue discharging their responsibilities with commitment and to follow professional standards in dealing with any emerging situation.
The inspection was part of the Capital City Police Peshawar’s ongoing efforts to review security at key posts across the district.
