In order to review security arrangements held for Pakistan People Party public meeting in the provincial capital here on Wednesday, SSP Operation Haroon Rashid visited different parts of the city and specific location of the Jalsa.
The SSP Operation directed police officials to ensure foolproof security arrangements at the entry and exit points for the PPP public meeting at Kaboter Chwak on Ring road in order to avoid any untoward incident.
He said that more than a thousand police cops have been deputed for the security of the public meeting.
Besides, officers and men are performing security duties city patrol riders and mobile squads of local police stations have also been activated.
The process of checking the entrances and exits of the city has also been tightened and BDU and Sniffer Dogs teams have been deployed in and around Ring Road he added.
