KHYBER: Three people were seriously injured after a vehicle carrying Afghan repatriated families crashed into a mountain side due to brake failure near the Mechni Check Post on Landi Kotal- Torkham road in Khyber district on Wednesday. Local police said that suddenly brake of the Torkham heading vehicle failed and the driver crashed the truck into the nearby hill that caused the injuries Rescue teams shifted the injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Landi Kotal, and according to the hospital sources three wounded were brought to the casualty where their treatment was underway.
