Traffic awareness seminar held at NWGH

City Traffic Police Peshawar organized a traffic awareness seminar at North West General Hospital and Research Center on Wednesday aimed to educate citizens about traffic laws and promote road safety.
Chief Traffic Officer Haroon Rashid Khan, CEO Malik Abdul Latif Awan, traffic officials, and doctors attended the seminar. Khan emphasized the importance of raising awareness about traffic laws among citizens to prevent traffic accidents and jams.
Khan stated that using seatbelts and helmets during travel can prevent traffic accidents and loss of life. He also stressed the need for drivers to follow traffic rules, exercise patience, and consider road safety and security while driving.
The City Traffic Police Peshawar has formed a traffic volunteer force, comprising students from various educational institutions, to raise awareness about traffic laws among citizens. The force regularly distributes awareness material and guides citizens on traffic rules at various points in the city.
The seminar was part of the City Traffic Police Peshawar’s efforts to promote traffic awareness and road safety in the city. The department has also activated its social media accounts to raise awareness about traffic laws and provide updates on traffic conditions to facilitate citizens .
