Traffic chief visits different sectors in Peshawar

The Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat paid a visit various sectors of the provincial capital and inspected the overall performance of the on duty wardns and traffic system.
On the occasion, Abbas Majeed also examined the presence of wardens and personnel at various points and communicated with the citizens about the problems related to the traffic system.
He directed the traffic authorities to further improve the performance so that the citizens do not face any difficulty while traveling.
The traffic authorities should continue their operations against the encroachment mafia and eliminate temporary and permanent encroachments he added.
Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat directed DSP Ring Road to discourage those who park their freight vehicles on the side of the road on Ring Road and to visit regular goods transport bases to inform the owners and transporters in this regard.
He also instructed against the illegal parking their vehicles on the Ring Road and to do so within the load-bearing bases in the vehicle so that the traffic system is not affected.
Traffic chief said that bargain owners, mechanics and owners of goods bases should cooperate with City Traffic Police Peshawar so that the traffic system would not be affected.
Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat said that all possible efforts should be made to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard while disciplinary action would be taken against the culprits.
