Shahpur Police arrested two suspected armed men during a targeted operation conducted under the supervision of DSP Chamkani Circle Ashfaq Khan, police officials said on Saturday.
According to police, SHO Shahpur Police Station Jamal Shah Khan led the operation along with other police personnel, resulting in the arrest of Shuja Alam, son of Alamgir, and Imran Khan, son of Faridullah.
Police recovered two Kalashnikov rifles, magazines and Katos from the possession of the suspects during the raid.
Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, while further investigation is underway.
