ISLAMABAD : Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said no one has focused on the development of Balochistan in the past unfortunately and the PTI government has given the largest development package to Balochistan.
He said this during his meeting with newly appointed governor of Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha here Thursday. Deputy speaker National Assembly (NA) Qasim Suri was also present on the occasion.
Information minister said socio-economic development of Balochistan is top priority of the government. Unfortunately no one placed focus on the development of Balochistan in the past. PTI government gave the biggest development package to Balochistan.
He remarked the development package announced by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will allay the deprivations of the province. Balochistan will be the major beneficiary of CPEC project. The development projects for Balochistan will prove real game changer in the province.
Peace is must for development of Balochistan, he observed.
Governor Balochistan Zahoor Ahmad Agha said the efforts being made by the federal government to alleviate the deprivations of Balochistan are laudable.
