On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Wana Basheer Khan and DPO Khanzeb Mohmand, in collaboration with the Maliks of the Government Reconciliation Jirga and Ulamas, signed a letter of intent headed by Malik Jameel Wazir regarding the ongoing land dispute gorgora were done.
Both tribes empowered the district administration and the conciliation jirga in accordance with the custom of the Ahmadzai Wazir tribes.
Due to the tireless efforts of the reconciliation jirga under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Wana Basheer Khan, negotiations were finally successful.
District President Nadeem Wazir from Jamaat-e-Islami, Imran Mukhlis from PPP, former MNA Maulana Abdul Malik Wazir from JUI, Ayaz Wazir from ANP, Taj Wazir, Noor Hassan from PTI in political alliance with Malik Jamil Wazir in reconciliation jirga.
Apart from Different walk of life, Sher Ali Faqir and former Customs Collector Nasrullah Wazir, media persons were also present.
Malik Jamil, head of the reconciliation jirga, said that the two warring tribes had given us powers in accordance with Ahmadzai Wazir tribal traditions.
He said that inshallah it will be resolved soon And both tribes agree.
Assistant Commissioner Wana said that the decision of the reconciliation jirga would be acceptable to both the tribes Assistant Commissioner Wana said that with the cooperation of the district administration, the elders and Ulamas had been holding continuous jirgas for the last several days which they succeeded in doing today.
On this occasion, he thanked all the people except the reconciliation jirga, Ulamas and political alliance. And paid tribute to his positive role.
It should be noted that so far two people have been killed and six others injured in this land dispute.
