CCPO Peshawar suspended SHO over poor performance

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Ijaz Khan on Saturday suspended SHO Inqilab Police Station Irfan Khan for failing to maintain law and order situation in its jurisdiction and showing laxity in the case of Inspector Shaheed Sehar Gul Khan.
As per a handout, Irfan Khan has been directed to report Malik Saad Shaheed Police Line with immediate effect.
According to details, CCPO Muhammad Ijaz Khan had received a number complaints against the SHO Inqilab Police Station.
The law and order situation of the aforementioned police station were not satisfactory and the SHO was also showed laxity in investigation related to Sahar Gul Khan.
The CCPO has warns strict action against other SHOs for lack of management skills, negligence in patrol system and lack of interest in security arrangements. He further said that it would not be tolerated to leave the investigation of serious incidents in any area to other agencies and units in which action would be taken against the SHOs who showed negligence and negligence.
