Over the last few days, the Security Forces of Pakistan conducted a series of high-tempo, intelligence-driven operations as part of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign aimed at eliminating Indian-sponsored proxies, including Fitna Al Khwarij and Fitna Al Hindustan.
On February 24, 2026, thirty-four Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in four separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while eight terrorists affiliated with Indian proxy Fitna Al Hindustan were neutralized during an engagement in Sambaza, Balochistan.
In one incident, the movement of a group of Khwarij attempting to infiltrate across the Pakistan–Afghanistan border in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan District, was detected by security forces. Own troops engaged the group effectively, resulting in the neutralization of one Khwarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij. The killed Khwarij was identified as an Afghan national.
In another intelligence-based operation conducted in Lakki Marwat District, own troops engaged a Khwarij hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, three Khwarij were successfully neutralized.
Simultaneously, in two separate engagements in the general area of Narmi Khel, Bannu District, security forces neutralized ten Khwarij, while in another intelligence-led operation in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District, twelve Khwarij were eliminated.
During a fifth engagement, an intelligence-based operation was carried out in the general area of Sambaza, Zhob District. After a fierce exchange of fire, eight terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Hindustan were successfully neutralized.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the Indian-sponsored Khwarij and terrorists killed during these operations. The neutralized militants were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.
The Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers. Sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored Khwarij in the area. The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace until the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism is eradicated from the country.
