The 8th Maritime Security Workshop (MARSEW-8) commenced at the Pakistan Navy War College in Lahore today. The workshop was formally inaugurated by Rear Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmie, Commandant of the Pakistan Navy War College.
Rear Admiral Azmie highlighted the strategic importance of leveraging Pakistan’s maritime potential in the evolving global landscape. He noted that since its inception in 2017, MARSEW has evolved into a premier national forum for knowledge sharing and continues to support a whole-of-nation approach toward strengthening the maritime sector and Pakistan’s blue economy.
Organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Navy, MARSEW-8 aims to enhance understanding of contemporary maritime security issues.
