The Cantt Public High School Mardan Cantt, under the leadership of CEO, Raza Shah will be participating in the most challenging educational mind Sports Game “SCRABBLE” Inter-School Scrabble Words Cup events for Boys & Girls in December 2025 at Cantt Public Girls High School Peshawar Cantt
Learners from CB School Mardan school will be participating in this Words Cup which is being organized by KP Scrabble Association under the kind supervision of the Pakistan Scrabble Association, (PSA) and in collaboration with the Chief Executive Cantonment Board Peshawar.
Cantt Public School system has the philosophy of academic excellence and holistic development through the blend of curricular and beyond classroom learning. Principal, Zovia Afsar ensures that learners are given opportunities and platforms to experience the world beyond the classroom and represent their school on the national and international level. As, through such engagement, young learners acquire a higher level of knowledge and skills, improve their physical health and increase their motor skills, socialize and interact in new and different ways with their peers.
Scrabble is one of the mind-challenging sports games for the students where they have to pay their utmost attention to make crossword puzzles. This game challenges the students to brainstorm, recall their vocabulary, and solve the puzzle by making words using letters tiles on scrabble board. It also helps them to enhance their vocabulary.
Playing scrabble is as fun for students as it is for teachers and parents. It also enhances sportsmanship in children.
The collaborative efforts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Scrabble Association for organizing this interschool scrabble Words Cup competition are applaudable and highly appreciated. Such initiatives should be taken more often to foster learning through sports and games in all schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan.
