Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Saturday congratulated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers for their successful and peaceful protest, emphasizing the importance of protecting the Constitution of Pakistan, which he said belongs to the people.
In a statement, Barrister Saif criticized the proposed constitutional amendments, claiming they were being kept hidden from the public and aimed at undermining the judiciary’s autonomy.
He vowed that PTI would resist any such attempts.
Mr Saif also declared that the protest against the “fake government” demonstrated that the current rulers do not represent the people.
He reiterated PTI’s commitment to continue the struggle for the release of party leader Imran Khan and the end of what he described as an illegitimate government.
He further emphasized that PTI was a symbol of national unity and insisted that the only way to bring Pakistan out of its current crises is through Imran Khan’s release.
“Imran Khan is the last hope for Pakistan,” Saif remarked, adding that the government formed under a “regime change conspiracy” is causing the country’s internal destruction.
The KP government spokesman expressed confidence that Pakistanis across the nation were ready to protest in support of Imran Khan, saying the nation will speak with one voice.
He concluded by reaffirming PTI’s commitment to standing with its leader, stating that every PTI worker and the people of Pakistan will support Imran Khan in the quest for true freedom.
