KOHAT: On the special instructions of Commissioner Kohat Division and Chairman Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Moatasim Billah Shah, a team of district administration started crackdown on use of LPG cylinders in vehicles and unregistered dealers. During the checking, 36 passenger vehicles including Suzuki, rickshaws and other public transport vehicles were inspected and prohibited LPG cylinders were removed. Owners were also penalized for violating the rules and use of substandard cylinders in vehicles. District administration also sealed two LPG shops on Hangu Road that were operating illegally were also sealed. The district administration said that keeping in view public safety, zero tolerance policy has been adopted against decanting and sale of LPG in unregistered shops. APP
