RAWALPINDI: National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has seized a call center involved in Online fraud in Rawalpindi. During the raid 28 accused persons were arrested. As per NCCIA , the arrested accused include 24 male and 4 female. All arrested persons are Pakistani employees. According to authorities the accused used to entrap the citizens through telegram and face book profiles of fake women. It has been disclosed that they used to grab money from the citizens through fake E-Commerce and Investment schemes. NCCIA has taken into possession several computers and mobile phones during raid. According to NCCIA fraud call centre was being run allegedly by a Chinese mastermind who is absconding after raid. Efforts are underway to arrest alleged Chinese master mind and other persons affiliated with this network. NCCIA Rawalpindi has registered case against the arrested 28 accused.
