Action against teachers of government schools with zero results in matriculation is sufficient and the Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has authorized the District Education Officers of 2 tribal areas and 12 districts including Peshawar to act under the discipline rules.
The action against the teachers of the government schools in the districts who had zero results including Abbottabad 7, Buner 11, Dera Ismail Khan 2, one each from Khyber, Momand, Swat, Mardan 2, Swabi 4, Shangla 2, 6 teachers from Peshawar has been included.
District Education Officers in this connection have also issued instructions to the teachers who have zero result, said an official of the Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said a total of 39 government schools in 12 districts of the province, including 2 integrated tribal districts, were identified.
Two female students’ schools are also involved, because notices are being issued to the respective teachers after the identification of the Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
If the explanation is unsatisfactory or the show cause notice is not answered after 7 days, action will be taken against them under Disciplinary Rules 2011, he said. The teachers who gave zero results include CT, AT, Primary School Headteacher, PTC, Head Master and DM. All teachers are of grade 15 and below, he informed.
