Attempt to smuggle heroin foiled by Islamabad airport security


An Airport Security Force (ASF) operation at Islamabad Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs abroad, media reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, 6 kg 330 grams of ice heroin was recovered from a passenger who going to Saudi Arabia was named Meer Sajjad, a resident to Malakand, wanted to go Dammam on PIA flight PK9245.

During the screening, ice heroin was identified in the bottom of the passenger’s bag. The accused had skillfully hidden the ice heroin in the bag.
The ASF personnel further revealed that Sajid has been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).
