ABBOTTABAD
In a landmark gesture of solidarity and academic cooperation, Abbottabad University of Science and Technology (AUST), in collaboration with COMSTECH, has granted admission to nine Palestinian students under the Fellowship Program for Palestinians.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mujaddad ur Rehman announced that AUST will provide full financial support to the selected students, covering all academic expenses. “It is an honour for Abbottabad University to welcome students from Palestine. We are proud to offer them free education as part of a broader nationwide initiative to support our Palestinian brothers and sisters,” he stated.
The initiative reflects Pakistan’s commitment to promoting international academic collaboration and cultural exchange. As a gesture of goodwill, AUST is not only offering tuition-free education but also extending full support to ensure a smooth academic journey for the students.
This meaningful effort was made possible through the support of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of COMSTECH, Islamabad, and Mr. Kamran Ahmad Afridi, Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Their contributions were instrumental in turning this noble cause into a reality.
“This collaboration sets an inspiring example of how educational institutions can play a powerful role in strengthening global partnerships and fostering goodwill,” said Dr. Rehman
