PESHAWAR: The Right Reverend Mano Rumal Shah, Bishop of Peshawar, Church of Pakistan, along with a delegation from the Diocese of Peshawar and St. John’s Cathedral Church, paid a courtesy visit to the Cantonment Board Peshawar (CBP) on Tuesday. The Bishop met with Cantonment Executive Officer Chaudhry Babir Hussain to express sincere gratitude for the provision of a free shuttle service during Easter 2025. The service enabled hundreds of Christian community members to attend Easter prayers with convenience and dignity. Bishop Rumal Shah lauded the initiative as a meaningful gesture promoting interfaith harmony and public service. He presented a bouquet to the CEO as a token of appreciation, while the CEO reciprocated with a gift of a book to the Bishop. “The Cantonment Board’s initiative was not just logistical support; it was a message of solidarity and respect,” said Bishop Shah. “On behalf of the entire Christian community, I extend my deepest gratitude.” CEO Baber Hussain thanked the Bishop for his visit and reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to inclusivity and support for all communities within the cantonment.
