Marvi appreciated BISP MIS for developing state of art systems that ensure quality of data
CHARSADDA
Technology based BISP NSER survey is apolitical. Indigenously developed automated systems enable BISP to ensure 100% accurate data by identifying and rectifying any error in the collected data during survey on real time basis. The system identifies the data which has been collected by enumerators at one place instead of surveying the households at the door step. The identified areas would be resurveyed so that no deserving is left out. This was stated by Minister of State and Chairperson BISP MNA Marvi Memon during her meeting with local body members in Charsadda where she briefed them on National Socio Economic Registry (NSER) survey.
While discussing areas to be resurveyed, she appreciated BISP MIS for developing state of the art systems that ensure quality of data. Sharing district wise figures, the Chairperson added that 4.96% households in Chakwal, 6.26% in Charsadda, 4.62% in Faisalabad, 12.1% in Jacobabad, 11.9% in Kech, 12.78% in Kila Saifullah, 13.4% in Lakki Marwat, 9.9% in Layyah, 19.5% households in Mohmand Agency, 23.11% in Sajawal, and 16.8% in Thatta will be resurveyed to ensure clean data.
Chairperson BISP also visited UC Tangi to spot check the ongoing NSER survey. Chairperson BISP issued strict instructions regarding the resurvey of the households identified by BISP MIS. She added that BISP has hired an Operations Review firm to assess the quality of data. Even before the firm went into the field, intervention by BISP systems is a remarkable achievement in terms of making  BISP data transparent and error free.  The survey firms will revisit these households and verify the credentials before the data is accepted by BISP.
Later, Chairperson BISP met PML (N) workers and District President PML (N) Humayun Khan. She also offered fateha with the family of martyred SSP Sajid Mohammad and said that state would not forget his sacrifice and bring the responsible to accountability.
