Sher Shah son of Aleema Khan and nephew of PTI founder Imran Khan was presented in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore in Jinnah House attack case on Saturday and the court handed over him to police on 5 days physical remand.
Judge Manzar Ali Gill of ATC took up the case for hearing.
Prosecution told the court the accused was present on the scene. Arms were used on the occasion. Presence of the accused was found in video as well. Social media accounts of the accused have to be recovered. The accused be handed over to police on 30-day physical remand.
Suleman Akram Raja, counsel for the accused informed the court the accused was arrested after 27 months. The arrest is illegal. The accused appeared in the court along with his brother in this court and was arrested yesterday.
The counsel for the accused said this court had declared late arrest illegal. The court should reject police plea for physical remand and discharge the accused.
The court reserved judgment on 30 days physical remand plea after hearing the arguments.
Later the court while announcing the reserved judgment approved 5 days physical remand of the accused Sher Shah.
