Dar talks to Egyptian FM

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has telephonically talked to Foreign Minister of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdelatty. They discussed the latest regional developments, including progress towards an understanding between the United States and Iran. They expressed the hope that these positive developments would contribute to lasting peace, security, and stability across the region. Both sides agreed to maintain close contact. Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation today with Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.
They welcomed the US-Iran negotiations in the final stage.They expressed the hope that this important development will contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.
The Saudi Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s consistent and sustained efforts in support of mediation and dialogue throughout the process. Both sides also discussed the forthcoming Regional Four Foreign Ministers (R-4) meeting, scheduled to be held in Egypt later this month. — DNA
