Faiq emphasizes collective efforts to eliminate poverty, price-hike, and unemployment

Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has said inherited and personality based politics has pushed the country back many years.
Shah while talking to different delegations here at the party’s main office on Tuesday asserted that a conglomerate of political parties should be formed to combat poverty, deprivations and unemployment in the country.
“We must learn from the history and should come forward with innovate ideas and strategy to tackle with challenges that have been confronting at internal and external fronts”,
The ATP chairman called for tapping indigenous resources to make Pakistan economically self-reliant.
He said youth are the precious treasure of the country, so they should be lifted and provide them all facilities to play their due role in national progress.
The country’s future has been put at stake for the sake of survival in politics and personal interests, Shah observed.
He maintained neighbouring countries have made rapid advancement in many important sectors while Pakistan is lagging behind in all sectors.
Faiq lamented that it is the dilemma of the whole nation that every ruler and elite have looted the national wealth with both hands but they didn’t make legislation and work for welfare of poor masses.
He said Pakistan can put on sustainable economic growth by utilizing rich natural resources.
He praised heap on government modus measures amid a crippling economy.
He, however, said austerity measures should be implemented to lower the burden on the national kitty.
The party chief suggested that non-development expenditures should be cut down while it is a dire need of the hour that a proactive strategy should be adopted to improve the country’s economy and restore trust of the local as well as foreign investors.
The party leader asked the government to focus on trade, business, exports and other key-sectors in the upcoming fiscal budget.
He noted that the growth rate remained below the projected target in the last several fiscal years.
He demanded a special incentive and relief package for traders and businessmen in Budget FY 24.
