A primary school teacher along with his maternal grandfather was killed when opponents fired at them in Moza Tarlandi here on Thursday over a dispute related to wheat crop.
Kalu Khan police said school teacher, Sajjad Ali along with brothers Shah Hussain, Bacha Sayyed and grandpa Shamoon were farming in fields when their opponents including Sanaul Haq, Wilayat Ameenul Haq and Ehsanul Haq sons of Khan Sahib started firing at them.
As a result of firing Sajjad Ali and his grandpa Shamoon were killed while Shah Hussain, Bacha Sayyed and Adnan were critically injured.
Kalu Khan police after registering a case, started investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, in Sheikh Jana area of the district, a young mobile-phone dealer was shot dead during a verbal brawl on an issue related to kite flying in the area.
According to Kalu Khan police Anees, Qimat Taj, Abdul Hamid and others fired at Amir Bacha and Adnan during a verbal clash, killing Adnan on the spot.
In another incident a laborer named Aman Sher, resident of Qamar Dhand died when a boulder fell on him during mining. Body of the deceased was shifted to Kalu Khan hospital for medico legal formalities.
