PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday paid tribute to the security forces for eliminating 10 Indian-backed terrorists during successful intelligence-based operations in South Waziristan and Upper Dir. The Governor said the professionalism, bravery and sacrifices of the country’s security forces in defending the homeland, maintaining peace and eliminating terrorism were a source of pride for the entire nation. He said the successful operations in South Waziristan and Dir reflected the security forces’ strong capability to effectively counter all forms of terrorism. Governor Kundi said India-backed terrorists and their facilitators would never succeed in their nefarious designs. He reaffirmed that the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, adding that the fight against terrorism would continue until its complete eradication.
