Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman said Friday that reforms has been introduced in Rescue 1122 and other emergency services for better and effective health service delivery system in the province.
He said problem of shortage of staff in Rescue 1122 and other emergency services has been addressed and all the required financial resources were provided, resulting overall improvement in its overall performance.
Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Red Crescent Society here, the Chief Minister said provision of clean drinking water to people was the top most priority of his government and for this purpose several projects of clean drinking water were started in the province. These projects were commenced in Jotian, Kondas and other areas.
The Chief Minister directed Secretary Health to conduct scientific survey of reports against spread of Appendix cases at Chamoghar area and directed for thorough investigation and necessary precautionary measures.
He said provision of better health facilities to people was the top priority of his government and all basic facilities were provided to public sector hospitals for people’s assistance.
