IHC extends interim bail of advocate Imaan Mazari in derogatory remarks against state institution case

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has extended interim bail of advocate Imaan Mazari till June 20 in the case pertaining to derogatory remarks against state institution.

The case came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah here Thursday. The complainant JAG branch and other respondents filed the written reply in the court.
The court directed the petitioner to give arguments on next hearing after seeing the reply.

The court inquired from counsel of JAG branch “ have you seen the last order of this court. What is left after this. What is left after what the statement has been given by the petitioner. You should see it. This can not be made offence.

Additional Attorney General (AAG) told the court on this occasion what justification was given by them regarding regret is not correct as per record.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 20.
