PESHAWAR
Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Industry and Trade Abdul Karim Khan said on Wednesday that the provincial government has launched various interest free loan schemes for youth to start their own business and play their role in the country’s development.
He urged the youth to take full advantage of the schemes and start their business without wasting their time in searching jobs, adding that they should invest on their own ideas and get benefit from the holistic business market.
He made these remarks while addressing a convention organized by the representatives of Young Leader Parliament at Peshawar’s Nishtar Hall.
He appreciated the leaders for holding a successful convention for the youth of the province, adding the provincial government was keenly interested in providing a feasible business environment to the young generation and making them part of the provincial economy through business opportunities.
“KP government has recently initiated a number of interest-free loans projects which focused on the young generation,” he added.
Abdul Karim maintained that youth of the province should not spent their time in seeking a market for jobs, adding that they should start their own business after getting loans from the government.
Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade (KP-BOIT) has been tasked to guide youth of the province for launching their own business.
President of Young Leader Parliament Naveed said that the aim of their organization is to create leadership quality in the young generation.
At the convention, Vice President Bank of Khyber (BoK) Atif Hanif urged the young leadership to work with honesty and new ideas.
