PESHAWAR: The Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Women’s Circle Dr. Humaira Tariq has strongly condemned the recent Israeli attack in Doha, Qatar, terming it an act of open aggression and state terrorism against Hamas leaders who were reportedly in Qatar for talks. In a statement issued on Wednesday, Dr. Humaira expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the incident, labeling it a blatant violation of international laws. She criticized the silence of Muslim rulers, calling it a form of “criminal indifference” that has emboldened Israel to continue its aggression unchecked. “After Gaza and Iran, Israel has now targeted Qatar. If the Muslim world does not take a firm stand, no Islamic country will be safe,” she warned. Dr. Humaira, under instructions from the emir of Jamaat-e-Islami, urged women to actively participate in nationwide protests scheduled for tomorrow to express solidarity with the victims and condemnation of Zionist aggression. Prominent leaders of the Women’s Circle, including Dr. Sameeha Raheel Qazi, Dr. Zubaida Jabeen, Atiya Nisar, Ayesha Syed, Effat Sajjad, Samina Saeed, and Fariha Ashraf, also denounced the attack and called for a unified strategy among Muslim nations to confront Israeli hostilities.
