KP govt hands over plots to police martyrs’ families

Advisor to the Chief Minister on Finance Muzzammil Aslam on Wednesday handed over plot allotment letters to the families of five police martyrs, according to an official handout.
A ceremony was held at the office of the Advisor. On this occasion, DIG Finance Sayed Fida Hussain Shah, Additional Secretary Finance Tauseef Khalid, and other officials, along with the families of the martyrs, were present.
The Finance Advisor said that, under the instructions of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the allotment letters were issued in accordance with the new Martyrs Package 2025, and that the plots and the package are a tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.
Muzzammil Aslam stated that the cash funds in the Police Martyrs Package have also been increased. Additionally, plot sizes based on the grade of the martyr have been included as part of the 2025 package.
He maintained that under the police force Martyrs Package 2025, the families of constables to inspectors will receive 11 million rupees, along with 5-marla plots for constables and head constables, and 7-marla plots for ASIs, SIs, and inspectors.
Muzzammil Aslam noted that, in the 2017 Police Martyrs Package, the amount was only 10 million rupees, which included the cost of the plot.
He further said that, under the package , the families of DSPs and ASPs will receive 16 million rupees and a separate 10-marla plot. Similarly, SPs, SSPs, and AIGs will receive 21 million rupees and a one-kanal plot.
The families of DIGs, AIGPs, and the IGP will also be given 21 million rupees and a one-kanal plot, he added.
