The provincial minister for education Arshad Ayub Khan on Wednesday formally inaugurated the E-Transfer Policy System for government-run school teachers.
According to a statement, the inauguration ceremony was attended by Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Muhammad Khalid, Special Secretary Masood Ahmad, Chief Planning Education Officer Zainullah, and other senior officials.
Speaking on the occasion provincial minister for education Arshad Ayub Khan highlighted the provincial government’s commitment to streamlining the transfer process for teachers, ensuring transparency and fairness.
“Today marks a historic step in the province’s educational reforms,” the minister stated.
He emphasized that the new E-Transfer Policy addresses the shortcomings of previous initiatives, with a focus on teachers’ preferences and adherence to the merit-based system.
“The introduction of the E-Transfer system ensures a more efficient, transparent, and merit-based process.
While previous attempts had limitations, we have worked to remove those deficiencies, ensuring a more effective system for teachers.”
The minister further assured that the E-Transfer system would continue to operate successfully, with plans for future enhancements in line with the directives of the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the Chief Minister.
“In the next phase, we will also introduce tenure-based and mutual consent transfers, which will further promote fairness and transparency,” he added.
