The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission (KPHCC) Senior Inspector Saeedur Rehman carried out inspection of private health clinics and drug stores at Odigram and Qambar areas of Tehsil Babuzai under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission Act 2015.
The inspections were carried out in compliance of the complaint received to the District Administration Swat from Pakistan Citizen Portal,
During the inspection process a number of actions were taken against certain clinics and medical stores owners for the violations of the act and health rules.
Naheem Clinic of Fazal Naheem was locked and sealed due to non registration of clinic with KPHCC. Also Fazal Naheem Dispenser was found busy in allopathic injectable practice at the time of inspection.
Similarly Irfan clinic was locked and sealed because non qualified person Irfan was found busy in allopathic injectable practice at the time of inspection.
Likewise notices for the registration were also issued to Umer Hayat Clinic and Fazal Hadi Clinic in the area.
All the health practitioners and medicine dealers were cautioned to maintain the reasonable price and quality of the drugs and health services as well as ensure the hygiene conditions in their concerned centers otherwise strict disciplinary action would be taken against them on violations of the health rules and regulations including heavy fines and imprisonment.
