Accidental firing

An Afghan national was killed and a Pakistan security soldier sustained injuries when an AK-47 gun of Afghan soldier accidentally went on here at zero point of Pak-Afghan sharing Torkham on Thursday.
The border security official informed that an unexpected firing of Afghan soldier (Talib) killed an Afghan national pedestrian at Afghan side and wounded a Frontier Corp (FC) troop on his hand across the border.
Soon after the incident, security measures were further beefed up at the crossing and the border was suspended for all kinds of movement.
The injured soldier identified as Sher Aziz, 142 wing of Chitral Scout was shifted to military hospital for medical treatment.
The border was resumed after remaining closed for an hour.
