Provincial information secretary of schools officer association, Hafiz Zubair Ahmed appreciated the efforts of Board of intermediate and secondary education (BIES) Mardan chairman.
Talking to the media Hafiz Zubair Ahmed who is also chairman of education council Mardan said that the Farid Ahmad Khattak’s active leadership dedicating the platform of Mardan Board for examinations to students as well as their creativity and co-curricular literary and non-literary activities is a very positive and commendable initiative.
He argued that since Farid khtak assumed the charge of chairmanship of the Mardan Board within two months of his leadership, he won the hearts of the students by conducting an education expo for the career counseling of the students. He added that a high quality gymnasium and sports courts were provided to the students of schools and colleges by opening up for sports activities.
He added that on March 18, a science gala will be organized on a large scale in order to highlight the hidden creativity among the students of schools and colleges through the practical’s of scientific subjects, for which an organizing committee will also be formed.
He said that the publication of the quarterly newsletter of Mardan board for the first time after taking advantage of all the boards of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is also the merit of the current chairman. He added that not only formal workshops have been started for the marking and paper setting of students’ papers in the examination.
He added that in this regard, formal manual-based training sessions will also be organized in a prestigious ceremony, which will be attended by Secretary Education and Secretary Information. Hafiz Zubair said that they pay tribute to the Chairman Board Farid Khattak for taking all these practical revolutionary steps.
He added that in this connection the teachers and heads of schools of Mardan Swabi and Nowshera will fully support and cooperate with him.
