Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) today signed three significant projects: Project Readiness Financing for Karachi-Rohri Section of Main Line-I (ML-I PRF) Project Readiness Financing for Quetta Bus Rapid Transit (Quetta BRT PRF) Balochistan Water Resources Development Sector Project – Additional Financing These initiatives focus on priority sectors including connectivity, urban transport, and water resources. Secretary Ministry of Economic Affairs Muhammad Humair Karim expressed appreciation for ADB’s continued support as a trusted development partner, noting that these projects will contribute to Pakistan’s sustainable economic growth, address critical urban infrastructure needs in Quetta, and enhance agricultural productivity in Balochistan.
