Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR), The Asia Foundation (TAF), Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) and Federal Flood Commission jointly organized a seminar on Localization of Water, Food, Energy and Climate Nexus policies with special focus on Balochistan Province.
During the seminar, notable officers from Government of Balochistan presented provincial policies and participates in the discussion session lead by Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Chairman, PCRWR.
The participants from Balochistan Government include; Secretary Forests and Wildlife, Director General Agriculture (OFWM), Project Director Public Health Engineering Department, Company Secretary Energy Department, Director Balochistan Environmental Protection Agency, Provincial coordinator & Deputy Project Director from Irrigation Department.
The seminar concluded with the notes on limitations of nexus policies and suggestions for their implementation.
