The local leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Monday observed 43 death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in the provincial capital.
A large number of PPP supporters including PPP Peshawar Division President Liaquat Shabab, General Secretary Abrar Nahaqi and Information Secretary Tariq Rahim while paying homage to the 43rd birth anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
Liaquat Shabab said on this occasion that Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave the nation a united democracy and first constitution and strengthened the defense of the country.
The protection of these two things which Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto has left for future generations is necessary in all cases, he added.
“Today we reaffirm our commitment to dedicate ourselves to democratic principles and pay tribute to all those martyrs,” he said.
He said that the Bhutto family sacrificed their lives in the cause of democracy, endured the hardships of deportation and despite 43 years of being bound, the Pakistani nation and the world of Islam could not forget Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
The local chapter of PPP said that today Pakistan faced with many problems due to execution of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto.
They said that leaders like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto are not born again and again.
Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was the only leader of the Islamic world who resolved all differences between Muslim countries and rulers and brought them together on a single platform, they added.
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto will always remain fresh in the hearts of the people.
The irreparable damage caused by the martyrdom of Shaheed Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto is extremely difficult to compensate.
