Relief packages are being provided at 85 Utility Stores in Mardan

MARDAN: In the light of the decision of the Federal Government, on the instructions of Zonal Chief of Utility Stores Corporation, Mehtab Banuri, under the supervision of Regional Manager Sahib Shah relief packages are being provided at 85 utility stores including Sasta Bazaar in Mardan, Local media Person Ali Bacha said while talking to the media. He added that under the Ramadan subsidy, the price of sugar has been reduced by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 70 per kg, while 20 kg bags of flour are being sold at Rs 800 per kg. A bag of flour was selling at Rs. 950 while ghee was selling at Rs. 260 per kg. Ali Bacha added that 19 items received under Ramadan Relief Package were linked to Identity Cards, while selling of subsidized items were stopped without ID Cards. He added that the purpose of subsidizing utility stores was to set an example for the people in the market regarding the pricing of food items. Our Correspondent
