RMI holds symposium on future of clinical trials in Pakistan

Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) on Tuesday held a symposium on “Future of Clinical Trials in Pakistan”. The event was attended by experts, policymakers, and healthcare leaders who shared insights that could shape the nation’s approach to research and innovation.
Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Ihtisham Ali attended the event as chief guest where he announced the establishment of provisional clinical trial centers and recognized RMI’s effects for tracking these challenging issues in the region.
The event brought together luminaries like Babar Saeed Khan (NUMS), Syed Munawar Ali (IQVIA), Dr Malik Muhammad Asad (DRAP), and Prof Dr Maimoona Siddiqui (Shifa International), setting the stage for meaningful progress in clinical trials.

Saeed Sadiq Hamid from Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, delivered a powerful keynote, While Professor Dr Ejaz Hassan Khan ‘VC of the Gandhara University, lauded RMI as “The face of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of the private medical sector’.
