DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The district administration sealed seven LPG agencies and shops for selling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) above the government-approved rates during a crackdown on Bannu Road and Chashma Road. The action was carried out by Assistant Commissioner (Headquarters) Dr. Hamid Siddique, accompanied by the Assistant Director Industries, following public complaints and on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Hikmatullah.
During the operation, legal notices were issued to all violators for breaching the rates notified by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
