PESHAWAR
Police on Tuesday arrested two suspects and recovered weapons from their possession during a snap checkpoint operation in the Gulbahar area.
According to police, the arrests were made near Afridi Garhi Bridge, where personnel had set up a roadblock as part of routine security measures. The suspects, identified as Imadullah and Adnan, were intercepted while riding a motorcycle.
A search led to the recovery of two pistols from their possession. Police have registered a case against the suspects and launched further investigation.
