A simple ceremony of distribution of assistive devices such as hearing aids, canes, crutches, wheelchairs, tricycles and gifts among differently abled persons were held at a local hotel on Tuesday.
It was attended by large number of people including notables of the city, local people, social activists, journalists and special persons from all three taulkas of kashmore @ kandhkot. Member of National Assembly (MNA) Kashmore district Sardar Ihsan ur Rahman khan Mazari handed over 20 wheelchairs, dozans of crutches and canes besides various gifts to physical challenged persons.
Talking to media persons Ihsanur Rahman Mazari said that there is no doubt that special persons are also part of our society.
It is our prime responsibility to treat them as equal as like a normal person and we shouldn’t have feel them that they are abnormal. However they are not burden on us they could be our assets if we stand with.
He requested to philanthropists, rich persons and various INGOs and NGOs to come forward to support people especially differently abled Perao who can’t able to feed their families.
Kandhkot- A dacoit was got injuries during an encounter with police within the precinct of kashmore here on Tuesday.
According to press release issued by SSP office, The police chief Amjad Ahmed sheikh got secret information about criminals who were hidden at a hideout in the limits of Katcha area of Masso Mor Kashmore, in this connection police chief constituted a special team led by Station House officer city kashmore Akbar Ali Channa. As per release police party attacked at the hideout where they were hidden they also fired at police resultantly a criminal Ghulam Nabi alias Gorro son of Ghulam Mohammad in injured condition while his other accomplices were escaped from the scene.
Police said that he was wanted to police on recent robbery incidents in Kashmore city. Police said he was brother of notorious criminal Mevo Mazari. One TT pistol and dozens of bullets were recovered from his possession. While further investigation is under the way.
