PESHAWAR: Deputy Commission Shafiullah Khan visited Central Jail Peshawar on Friday. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief) Muhammad Imran Khan and other police officials. DC Peshawar presided over a meeting on the occasion which was attended by Superintendent Central Jail Peshawar Maqsood-ur-Rehman, District Health Officer Dr Muhammad Idrees, District Sports Officer Madam Gul Rukh and other departments. After the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar along with the committee members inspected various parts of the Central Jail Peshawar and reviewed the facilities provided to the prisoners. He also met the prisoners and asked about their problems and instructed the officers to solve them on a priority basis. Mr Shafiullah Khan instructed the quarter concerned and DHO for administering Covid-19 vaccination to the jail inmates in order to protect prisoners from the spread of the virus. DLP Report
